I bought a new gown for the ball during my lunch this afternoon. I have a variety of dresses which I already own that I could have worn, but this one simply called to me on my walk back to work from the cafe down the road. I also made sure I got back to work on time today so I could avoid the whole lift incident again.
It will be nice to see everyone on Saturday. I'll need some I'm sure I wouldn't turn down friendly company if you sought me out, so be sure to do so!

I spent the Easter weekend with my family. Andrew and Thomas moved out of the house two months ago and so this was the first time that they were back home for an event. Not that a holiday is anything bigger than a fancy family dinner for us, but it was still very nice. Mum made a tonne of food, and we all ended up half asleep in the sitting room by sundown, so all in all it was really quite lovely. They asked after Michael. I think Mum doesn't really think it's over.
But now the weekend is over and it's time to go back to work. I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday.
